Cricket World Cup 2019, India vs. Newzealand : who wins today?

Today at Trent Bridge , Nottingham, world cups two unbeaten teams, Newzealand and India are facing each other. Though both teams are outstanding teams and Newzealand is performing exceedingly better,  and India being also in top form, defeating giants like Australia, South Africa, Pakistan. In the following, we try to analyze, who probably remain undefeated, as Newzealand in on the top of the table, as of today.

Losing Shekhar Dhawan is a big blow to the Indian team, his 117 runs of 109 balls laid the foundation of the mighty innings of 352 runs, which Australia fell short of 36 runs. A strike rate of about 94 with 44.9, Shekhar Dhawan in numerous times builds the basis of victory for his country. Losing such a key player gives a breather for the opponents. But India’s strong batting line up may be adequate enough to recoup Dhawan’s absence.

Considering this year’s performance as they all played 5 ODI’s excluding the warm-up they lost heavily to their today’s opponent 1-4, though whitewashed  Srilanka and  Bangladesh in their home series, and in the previous year at home they also whitewashed Pakistan and lost against England 3-2. Now  considering their today’s counterpart,India’s record they won 4-1 against them(Newzealand) this year , they won their way series against the mighty Australians’ 2-1 but lost at home by 3-2, in the previous year they almost whitewashed  another leading cricketing nation South Africa in the away series by 5-1,lost to England 2-1, beaten Pakistan twice in their away series. But Newzealand leads the World cup by 4-3 and also defeated India in the warm-up matches.

In today’s match KL Rahul is expected to replace Shekhar Dhawan; other possibilities, they might go with either Dinesh Kartik or, Vijay Shankar or, Ravindra Jadeja.

India has a strong batting line up, they are regularly crossing 300 marks and also has very balanced bowling, and in this very year, they almost whitewashed Newzealand. But Newzealand in no goner, they are on the top of the table, defeated India in the warm-up match, with a well disciplined and organized batting line up they are also foe to revere and awe. Only time will now, who comes out as victorious.
