Holton hill the cornerback of Minnesota Vikings, suspension been doubled, as he was suspended additionally for four more games.
Holton hill, 22, an undrafted rookie from Texas, joined the Vikings back in 2018 season. In his first season with them, Hill recorded 36( 30 Solo and 6 Assisted) tackles and 1 interception and 7 passes defended.
Back in April Hill was suspended for violating NFL’s policy on substance abuse and performance-enhancing drugs. Initially, he was set to miss his first four games of the season by league’s suspension, added to that his suspension doubled. Now he is going to miss the first eight games.
Following his first suspension, Holton hill acknowledges that he was mistaken to put those illicit performance-enhancing drugs. But reportedly back in 2018 he failed another drug test in the NFL Combine and reported one drug test in during his college days in Texas.
He will miss the season until the 25th October 2019, Monday’s matchups against the Washington Redskins, their eighth game. He is allowed to join the team’s preseason practice and games. His Suspension will only be enacted beginning the regular season.
Though Hill proved to be a low cost, solid player for the Minnesota Vikings, he won’t be missed that much as his team is well endowed, as they have 12 cornerbacks.
The Vikings have opened their training camp, with the team to report for the full squad practices on the 26th. Their first preseason game will take place on the August 9th against the Saints.
