Tight End Lance Kendricks signed with the Patriots

According to the report, Ian Rapoport, the NFL Network insider and confirmed by David canter, the agent of Lance Kendricks, that his client has signed to the New England Patriots. Lance Kendricks, a free agent who played for the Green Bay Packers (2017–2018) on a $ 4 million and 2 years contract.
Kendrick joined just before the beginning of the Patriots training camp starting from the following Thursday. His fellow tight ends of the Patriots are Ben Watson, Andrew Beck, Ryan Izzo, Stephen Anderson, Matt LaCosse and Jakob Johnson.
Following the retirement of Rob Gronkowski’s, Dwayne Allen’s release, Jacob Hollister’s trade to the Seahawks and Ben Watson’s four games suspension due to the violation of the policy regarding performance-enhancing drugs, the Patriots are in a tight situation concerning tight ends.
Lance Kendricks, 31, 250 pounds and 6 feet 3, have displayed some spectacular receiving skills. He was drafted in 2011 on the second round. In his 8 year NFL career, he played his first 6 for the Rams, the next two for the Packers (2017-18)
In the previous season, 2018, with the Green Bay Packers in 16 games, Kendricks had 3 starts, 19 receptions for 170 yards and 1 touchdown. In a very successful 2016 season, for the Los Angeles Rams, he flashed his skill as a tight end, with 50 receptions for 499 yards and 2 touchdowns he finished the season very nicely.
In his regular career, he played a total of 125 games, with 241 receptions for 2505 yards, 91 starts, and 19 touchdowns.
